Use the Rule of Thirds

The use of the Rule of Thirds helps to capture eye-catching images. Using this one of the most effective rules of composition, you’ll be able to take an interesting shot of your subject.

To use this composition, visualize four lines. Two of these lines must lie across the image while the other two are vertical. As a result, it creates nine even square. You can capture with a focal point in the center of the square or place the subject off-center at one of the intersecting points of the lines. This rule makes the eyes wander the frame of the mage.

Avoid Camera Shake

The camera can cause blurriness of the image. To avoid this, first, you need to be aware of how to hold the camera properly. In holding the camera, use your both hands. For handheld shooting, make sure to use a shutter speed that is right for your lens’ focal point. Create a Sense of Depth

Landscape photography or outdoor photography helps in creating a sense of depth and makes the audience feel like they are there or part of the image. To create a sense of depth, use a wide-angle lens for a panoramic view. To keep the foreground and background sharp, use a small aperture of f/16. The distance will be emphasized and gives a sense of scale once the object or person is placed in the foreground. Remember that a small aperture commonly requires a slower shutter speed, so use a tripod if possible.

Use Simple Backgrounds

Selecting ISO 800-1600 will give an impact for the shutter speed. For the light to reach the sensor, use the widest aperture as possible, and it will cause a nice blurred background. If the room is too dark and you have no choice but to use flash, make sure to use a flash with a head that can be rotated. Point the light to the ceiling on an angle, and you’ll be able to take a shot of your subject effectively.
