At the rate the world is moving, there are many different types of photography style popping out. They come from different subjects and types of photography and one if it is candid photography. What is Candid Photography?

Candid photography is in real-time images of photography. It is the way of capturing an event or the subject with the absence of their knowledge. Candid pictures are the truth photos, which is not intentional, unlike corporate video or photography where it’s not so impromptu.

• Start shoot from the hip

If you don’t want your subject to know that you are taking the pictures, and if you are afraid to be caught, you can try taking photos with them from the line of your hip. The result can make a new angle of a photography, which is not from the eye angle.

• Lose your flash

It is the most important thing to consider when you want to take a candid shot. You need to lose your flash so that you will draw attention.

• Try to use a prime lens

By using a prime lens, they will add more compact to the camera, and making it less noticeable and easy to use. With this, you can roam around if you are in an event and can mix to the background.

• Blend in where the action is

It would be useful in the street or while traveling. If you don’t want anyone to notice that you have a picture with them, or if you don’t want to ruin the excellent shoot. You can join them and like act as if you are one of them and pick the right spot, which you can take a good photo from.

• Tell your subject to pretend you are not there

These are everyday things that happen. Some people are uncomfortable with the presence of the camera. If you want to have an excellent candid picture, you can tell them to pretend as if you are not there and no one is taking a photo. This way, they will not feel awkward in moving or doing their things that you want to capture.

Candid are naturals shots which we often do, unlike Corporate photoshoot, where we tell the subject to pose. The pictures that we take when we are the only ones who arranged them are candid.
